Is Abyssal Lapidary Steam Deck verified?
No verified Steam Deck status is documented in the supplied sources. Compatibility is therefore Unconfirmed, not Verified, Playable or Unsupported. A PC demo being installable does not by itself establish a comfortable handheld experience.
No frame-rate target, battery-life estimate, resolution recommendation or Deck-specific preset is asserted here. Those details are to be confirmed at launch or through documented testing.
What does the demo tell us?
The free demo gives players a substantial sample of ore appraisal, extraction, faceting, jewelry work and shop management. It provides a way to assess the game on a handheld PC, but any personal test should be described as that player’s result rather than an official compatibility rating.
The cited demo reference reports that controller support is absent from the demo build. It describes controller support as planned for launch or shortly after, but no exact implementation date is confirmed. Keyboard, mouse, touch and controller behavior can differ between demo builds, so readers should check the version and current patch notes.
What should handheld players check?
Start with the separate demo listing and the current version notes. Review whether the build you install documents controller input, text scaling and the graphics options you need. The demo’s October 23 update added accessibility aids, but the supplied materials do not turn that into a Deck certification.
For the current playable content and installation route, use the demo guide. For a source-based introduction to the workshop controls and loop, read the beginner guide.
How this status will change
An official Steam Deck badge, a developer announcement or clearly documented post-release testing would justify an update with a source and date. Until then, this page will not convert individual reports into an official rating.
Console players should use the separate PS5 status page. A PlayStation version and Steam Deck compatibility are unrelated platform claims.
